Nestled quietly on the white sands of Old Silver Beach, the Sea Crest Beach Hotel in North Falmouth is the picture-perfect Cape Cod getaway.
This summer marks its 3rd annual Old Silver Beach Shore Dinner Series where hotel guests, Cape residents and visitors can enjoy a classic Cape Cod cuisine accompanied by a beautiful backdrop at one of Falmouth’s nicest beaches. This year’s series continues every Tuesday night until Sept. 6. Prepared by executive chef Glenn MacNayr, guests can enjoy a menu of Maine lobster, local steamers, East Coast mussels, clam chowder, burgers and salads. A family-friendly atmosphere, dinners range from $25-$65 per person.
If you’re interested in a more exotic experience, the hotel also offers Jamaican Night every Thursday through Aug. 25. With fun Caribbean-themed music, diners can enjoy a buffet of Jamaican cuisine that includes Jamaica’s national dish of ackee and saltfish, jerk chicken and pork, island slaw, tropical fruit punch and ginger beer. A unique experience, the evening ends with a breathtaking sunset on the beach. –Brigitte Rec
