Greater Hyannis Chamber of Commerce, along with five partners, will present the 3rd Annual Tour de Barnstable, a Town of Barnstable-wide cycling event evocative of traditional European Grand Fondos. The Tour de Barnstable on Sunday, May 7 will commence at 8:30AM and comprise a scenic 38-mile course through the Town of Barnstable seven villages. The event will benefit Barnstable Land Trust and Greater Hyannis Chamber and is a collaboration between those entities and Sea Sports Cyclery & Outdoor, Cape Cod Maritime Museum, Mass Bike-Cape Cod and Cape Cod Cycling Club.
The 38-mile Tour de Barnstable will start at 8:30AM Sunday May 7, 2017 from South and Ocean Streets in Hyannis and navigate through Barnstable Village, West Barnstable, Marstons Mills, Cotuit, Osterville, and Centerville before closing the loop at the starting point. The Tour de Barnstable ten-mile-course option through Hyannis village only will also start at 8:30AM. This option is for cyclists who prefer a shorter course; there will be youth rides for youngsters, as well. Register here online for the Tour de Barnstable.
