Flavorful Fusion

Tucked inside a small and unassuming building—next to an Eastern Bank, just off of Route 28 in Marstons Mills—is Saga Fusion, a new Japanese restaurant, hibachi grill and sushi bar all rolled into one delicious dining experience. Although the restaurant has been open a scant few months—opening day was Sept. 19—it has already received rave online reviews and word-of-mouth buzz. Bathed in ambient blue lighting, the contemporary dining room seats just 36 diners, with an additional six seats located at the action-packed sushi bar. The Hot Babe Roll, made with tuna, mango and avocado, with spicy tuna and avocado on top, is one of the most popular chef’s specialty rolls.  All entrees are served with miso soup and a green salad, including the not-to-be missed, melt-in-your-mouth Chilean sea bass with an orange miso glaze.  For non-seafood lovers, there are a number of chicken and steak options, too. But be forewarned: if you are planning to visit Saga Fusion for dinner on the weekend, make reservations because space fills up fast. Open for lunch and dinner daily. Reservations are accepted and recommended for weekend nights.  1560 Old Post Rd., Marstons Mills, 508-681-8110, www.sagafusionma.com
