On the last Wednesday in March, Cape Cod Magazine sponsored its 13th Girls Night Out at Puritan Cape Cod in Hyannis. It turned out to be our most successful Girls Night Out to date! The event celebrated the seven women featured in Cape Cod Magazine’s March cover story, Change Makers. More than 500 women sampled food from Pizza Barbone, Rendez-Vous Café, Spoon and Seed, Amie’s Bakery, and Little Miss Cupcape; sipped drinks from Cape Cod Beer, Cape Cod Package Store and The Local Juice; colored wine glasses at Glued’s crafting table; met local authors; and networked with Cape Cod Young Professionals. Hundreds of women walked the red carpet for a formal photo op and later dressed up in colorful hats, wigs, boas and glasses for a fun, laidback photo shoot. Attendees received 10 percent off Puritan clothing and 10 percent of proceeds benefited WE CAN.
Cape Cod Magazine has already heard from multiple businesses who would like to participate in the next year’s event. A heartfelt thanks to all of you who attended and thank you to all of the businesses, organizations and authors who participated.
