It all started with a dense chocolate chunk walnut brownie, and in just four years White Lion Baking Company’s repertoire of treats has expanded to include muffins, magic bars, granola, crackers, pies, pizza crust and more—86 different products in all, including mixes to prepare at home. And everything is paleo, gluten-free and low-carb, even custom wedding cakes. Better still, every single morsel is delicious.  “If it’s not oh-my-god amazing, I won’t do it,” says Liz Miles, White Lion’s founder and a Culinary Institute of America-trained pastry chef. A growing wholesale and shipping business whose Cape accounts include Whole Foods, Organic Market, Daily Brew and Coffee Obsession, White Lion yielded to public demand and opened its petite Mashpee storefront in fall 2013.
