When did The Pink Polka Dot open?

The shop started in 2009 as a wedding planning boutique, but we moved into our current location in May of 2011. The larger space allowed us to expand our services to include custom invitations and stationery, in addition to a large selection of gifts.

What are some of your top-selling items?

Our unique artisan greeting cards. Our custom invitations and stationery are also a large part of our business. We create everything from personalized stationery to “save the date” cards and wedding invitations. We are also home to many local items, including Half Shell candles, Cabo Cado tote bags, Tidal Effects children’s items, On Cape Time signs and Cape Cod Glass Designs wine glasses.

What do you look for when choosing merchandise?

Anything fun and different! We love boutique, artisan stationery lines that you can’t find everywhere. We also love local companies!

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting with customers and helping make their events a success. Whether it be bringing a bride’s vision to life or helping a customer choose the perfect gift, we are grateful to be part of these special moments.
